Casino comps, explained

Play in the casino. Sail on the comps.

Cruise lines watch casino play, then send free cruises, cabin upgrades, and onboard credit. This is where those offers get sorted out in plain language, with short videos on the way.

The short version

What a comp is

A comp is something the cruise line gives you because of casino play. It might be a free cabin, a lower fare, free play, or onboard credit.

How you earn them

You play in the casino on the ship. The program tracks that play and sends offers to your account. More play usually means better offers. The exact rules are not posted in one chart.

How to read an offer

Every offer has a date you must book by, a last date you can sail, and a list of ships it works on. Open the offer before you assume the cruise you want is included.
